Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to work onsite at a customer facility in Horseheads, NY. This role combines customer service, inventory management, and industrial product support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with customers, learning industrial products, and supporting daily operations to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying products and replacement parts
• Provide quotes, pricing, and lead times
• Process customer orders and source materials
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders and support their ongoing needs
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with vending machine and storeroom management
• Keep the stockroom organized and efficient
• Learn customer processes and product applications

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience or 1+ year of stockroom, warehouse, or industrial distribution experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to learn industrial products and use measuring tools such as calipers
• SAP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of industrial products or hydraulics is a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service and problem-solving
