A Springfield manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Assembler & Installer to join its growing production team. This full-time, first-shift position is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, assembly experience, and basic sheet metal or electrical skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal tasks including deburring, spot-facing, riveting, and panel trimming
• Assemble components and finished products according to work orders and specifications
• Complete minor electrical assembly and installation work
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Pull and package parts based on order quantities and shipping requirements
• Maintain organized workstations and inventory areas
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or installation experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday
