Pay: $18.00/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are now hiring motivated individuals for an entry-level Production Level 1 / CNC Operator position in Clarksburg, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse or manufacturing experience who want to start or grow a career in CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
As a CNC Operator / Production Worker, you will assist with the manufacturing of glass and optical components by operating CNC machinery, inspecting finished products, and completing hands-on production tasks. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including drilling, grinding, and milling equipment.
- Load raw materials and prepare CNC machinery for production runs.
- Follow blueprints and written and verbal work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and specifications.
- Perform repetitive, hands-on production tasks with focus and consistency.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- CNC or machine operation experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, blueprints, and production procedures.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with lifting up to 75 lbs in some areas.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
