Material Mixer

Located in Kentwood, MI

Salary: $22/Hr

Material Mixer Job Summary: A growing manufacturing company is seeking an ABOVE-AVERAGE individual to join their material mixing team. This is an opportunity to make things that no one else in the world does!

 

Material Mixer Requirements:

• Operate a variety of fiberglass material preparation equipment
• Mixing, blending, cutting, and forming of materials using mixers filament winders, and simple fixtures
• Use of measuring equipment as needed to accurately weight, mix, form, cut, and blend various compounds
• Work from written work procedures
• Follow written procedures to assure proper material formulation and storage which is subject to in-process and final inspection
• Complete and maintain material traceability records and other electronic documents according to procedure
• Detect, segregate, and report nonconformances to immediate supervisor or quality control inspector

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift: 6AM to 4:30PM Monday- Thursday overtime as needed
• $22/hr

Material Mixer Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Must Have Neat & Legible Hand Writing
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic math and counting required
• Word and Excel proficiency
• Requires use of respirator and all other appropriate PPE that we supply due to the chemicals
