General Laborer - $16.00/HOUR

We are currently hiring General Laborers for furniture installation in Anthony, NM.

The General Laborer assembles, positions, and installs residential or commercial furniture. They read layout plans, transport furniture, utilize tools to assemble components, and ensure items are placed securely according to specifications.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Assembly & Installation: Unpack, assemble, align, and level various furnishings (e.g., desks, seating, modular cubicles, and case goods) according to manufacturer guidelines or blueprints.
• Delivery & Logistics: Load, unload, and transport products safely to job sites.
• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Stage the installation area, remove packaging materials, and leave the workspace clean.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before installation and perform adjustments or minor repairs as needed.
• Client Communication: Collaborate with project managers, interior designers, and clients to ensure that setups meet design and functional requirements.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in using hand tools and small power tools.
• Blueprint Mastery: Ability to read and interpret floor plans, architectural drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 50 pounds unassisted), as well as stand, bend, and kneel throughout the workday.
