Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
 
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for an exciting opportunity with a client in the textile and apparel manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for candidates with strong garment construction knowledge and hands-on experience in production sewing environments.
 
Location: Scarborough, ON
Pay Rate: $18.50 / hr - Quick Assignment
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines, including walking foot single needle, serger (overlock)
  • Perform sewing tasks on adding slings to the Commercial Laundry Bags assembly
  • Read and follow patterns, measurements, and work orders to meet production specifications
  • Inspect materials and finished products for quality, durability, and accuracy
  • Maintain consistent stitch quality, fabric alignment, and finishing standards
  • Support production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing or workshop environment
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace
