Electronic Technician – 2nd Shift

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Electronic Technician for a manufacturing facility in Elkhart, IN.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with industrial electrical/electronics experience who can troubleshoot equipment, work with PLCs, and keep production machinery running properly.

Pay: $32.53–$37.03/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00pm–10:30pm
Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hr
Location: Elkhart, IN

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on production equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain machine control systems
• Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motor controllers, and electrical schematics
• Assist with equipment retrofits and control system upgrades
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Communicate equipment issues and solutions with maintenance leadership

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of electronics experience preferred
• Industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred
• Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motor controls
• Ability to read schematics and a tape measure
• Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification
