HVAC Service Technician (Day Shift) – Tinley Park, IL

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a growing company in Tinley Park, IL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity with immediate hire and a bonus program available.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment 
• Perform preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers and indoor air quality systems
• Identify issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
• Install replacement parts and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Strong troubleshooting diagnostic skills
• Follow all safety procedures and local codes
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately
• Communicate findings and repair options clearly with customers and team members
• Maintain tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and company vehicle
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of HVAC service experience required
• Previous experience working for an HVAC company preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
• Experience with residential and light commercial systems preferred

Work Schedule

• Day shift position (hours may vary based on service needs)
• Occasional overtime may be required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and handle varying temperatures
