Assembly & Shipping Associate – $20/hr

Location: Clackamas Area, OR
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: Day Shift

A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Assembly & Shipping Associate to support both production and shipping operations. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical and electronic products, inspecting finished assemblies, and preparing customer orders for shipment.

Job Description

The Assembly & Shipping Associate will assemble products according to engineering specifications and written instructions while also handling shipping, packaging, inventory, and required documentation. The ideal candidate has previous assembly and shipping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow engineering drawings and written work instructions to assemble mechanical and electronic products
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Maintain production standards and daily output goals
• Monitor materials delivered from production to the shipping area
• Pull, package, and prepare products for shipment
• Process shipments and complete required shipping documentation
• Prepare export documents, including Certificates of Origin and Pro Forma Invoices
• Ensure products are shipped accurately and on schedule
• Coordinate effectively between production and shipping operations
• Maintain an organized and safe work area

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous shipping and assembly experience required
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and engineering drawings
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work safely in a production and shipping environment

Work Schedule

Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate

$20.00/hour
