Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties for a local hospitality client. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and common areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces

• Replenish linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and shared facilities

• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines

• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to supervisory staff

• Ensure all assigned rooms are completed within designated timeframes

• Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times

• Timely completion of daily room assignments

• Accurate reporting of facility issues

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 25–30 lbs

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift

• Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts

• Perform repetitive motions such as wiping, scrubbing, and folding

Equipment Used

• Standard cleaning tools (mops, brooms, dusters, cloths)

• Vacuum cleaners

• Chemical cleaning agents following safety protocols

• Housekeeping carts

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Effective time-management skills

• Basic communication skills for interacting with guests and reporting issues

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
