Warehouse Receiving Associate
Location: Framingham, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Our client, a gourmet food company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to support daily inbound warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, inspecting, and putting away inbound product while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect all incoming products for quality, temperature compliance, labeling accuracy, case counts, and expiration dates
• Unload inbound shipments from carriers and assist driving team as needed
• Put away product according to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures while maintaining proper rotation and assisting in organizing warehouse space for incoming deliveries
• Operate warehouse equipment including electric pallet jacks and forklifts
• Sign bills of lading (BOLs) and receiving documents and report discrepancies promptly
• Perform cycle counts on high-risk, damaged, or short inventory items
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions including order picking/fulfillment and facility support tasks
• Follow all HACCP, Food Defense, SOPs, and warehouse safety procedures

Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse/receiving experience (food industry preferred)
• Forklift and Electric Pallet jack experience 
• Must be comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments (sub-zero conditions) for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and lift test
• Ability to read and understand English
• Ability to lift 1–75 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs as needed
