Position Details
Location: Lynden, WA
Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Pay: $20.00-$35.00/HR Depending on Experience
What You'll Do
- Perform steel MIG welding
- Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints and drawings
- Build projects from concepts, plans, and specifications
- Operate shop fabrication equipment
- Use grinders, torches, ironworker punch/shear machines, and band saws
- Perform layout, fit-up, and welding tasks
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Support production and fabrication operations
What We're Looking For
✔ 2+ Years of Steel MIG Welding Experience
✔ Fabrication Experience
✔ Blueprint Reading Skills
✔ Strong Mechanical Aptitude
✔ Experience Using Shop Equipment and Tools
✔ Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
✔ Strong Attention to Detail
✔ Reliable Attendance and Work Ethic
Preferred Experience
Experience with:
- Steel fabrication
- Custom manufacturing
- Production welding
- Blueprint interpretation
- Shop equipment operation
