1st Shift Customer Experience Associate (Sussex)

Salary: $20.00 - $22/hr. (BoE)

1st SHIFT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE

 

Pay: $20.00p/hr

Location: Sussex, WI

Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Overtime: From Apr. - Nov. Saturday Average a month required from 7am-11am.

Terms: Contract to Hire

Duties: 

• Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the customer relationship including pricing, order entry, fulfillment processes, order status information, inventory levels/reporting, shipment notification, coordination/consolidation of shipments, handling customer complaints, and correcting order and billing errors.
• Perform a variety of duties to assist customers by answering questions, identifying their needs and preferences related to merchandise, and interacting with other departments as required.
• Enter sales orders, data, product, warehouse records, and other computer entry as needed.
• Follow up on customer quotes and orders by managing the customer order pick-up process. This could include unpacking orders received from manufacturers, picking orders, staging orders for shipment, and managing the payment transactions.
• Develop knowledge of the company product line offerings and options to solicit business, make recommendations, upsell, or suggest alternatives to customers.
• Use knowledge of customer buying patterns or as directed by company management, contact customers to promote and secure company orders of products, promotions, and services.
• Actively participate in training opportunities for new and existing products, systems, and sales.
• Work with company management to identify the appropriate products and optimal inventory levels for the showroom selling floor. Adjust and maintain inventory levels appropriate for the season by transitioning the showroom from one season to another.

 Qualifiers: Looking for candidates who have held roles at hardware stores, big box stores such as Menards, Home Depot, Harbor Freight etc. Candidates should have some sort of face-to-face customer service experience. Must possess longevity within the work history for consideration. Job hoppers will not be considered. 

 

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to meet physical requirements, including alternating between standing, sitting, walking, bending, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.  Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
