Job Title: Machine Maintenance Specialist

Location: Plant City, FL

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Plant City, FL. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery within our shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, gas, and water lines, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints and conducting safety checks. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of electrical, gas, and water lines.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand machinery layouts and specifications.
• Install new equipment and ensure it is properly set up and operational.
• Conduct safety checks to maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns.
• Use various tools, including hand, power, and pneumatic tools, to perform maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed for equipment handling and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in machine maintenance, including electrical, gas, and water systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in installing equipment and performing safety checks.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Experience using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Own tools required for the job.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
