Salary: $20 an hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a maintenance role and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The primary responsibility of the Residential Maintenance Technician is to perform routine maintenance and repairs at our residential properties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs in residential properties
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property managers
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed
• Repair or replace appliances and fixtures as necessary
• Install and repair drywall and paint interior and exterior surfaces
• Install and repair fencing as needed
• Perform general carpentry and property upkeep tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential maintenance issues
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and other team members
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a maintenance or related role
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Experience with drywall installation and painting
• Experience with fencing installation and repair
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license required
