Express Employment is seeking a Manual Machinist to join our client's team at a manufacturing facility located in Shelby Twp. If you have manual lathe and/or bridgeport experience, we want to talk to you!

About the Role:

• Manual machining, drilling, tapping, and turning.
• 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri and an occasional Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathe and bridgeport
• Drilling
• Boring
• Tapping
• Turning

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years machine shop experience operating lathe and bridgeport
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (Micrometer, calipers and indicators)
• Read blueprints
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form
• Must be detailed oriented
• Follow all safety and workplace procedures
• Problem solving
• Report any problems that arise to the lead or supervisor
