Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Warehouse Lead for a growing company in Texarkana, TX. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading a small team while remaining hands-on in daily warehouse operations. The Warehouse Lead will oversee 2-3 warehouse employees, coordinate daily workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a safe and productive work environment.

This position works with carbon black products, resulting in a dirty work environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in industrial conditions and performing physical labor throughout the day.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of 2-3 warehouse associates
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities and prioritize workloads
  • Receive, store, and distribute materials and products
  • Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, and reporting
  • Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness standards are maintained
  • Train and assist team members with warehouse procedures and safety practices
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead others effectively
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a dusty and dirty industrial environment
