Quality Control Laboratory Specialist Summary/Company Information:

Schedule: 7:30 am- 3:30 pm OT at beginning or end of shift

Job Duties:

• Test materials to verify quality standards.
• Use lab equipment to test, analyze, and report findings.
• Enter test results into a computer system or paper documentation.
• Conduct inbound inspections, and report findings
• Keep lab equipment in good shape (calibration, basic maintenance, simple repairs).
• Handle PPAP samples and Support CQE with PPAP data
• previous quality background within a manufacturing or similar setting required.
• Daily use of CMM to take measurements, as well as use of precision measuring tools.

Experience/Other Required:

• Ability to use CMM, micrometers, calipers, various gauges
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to calibrate equipment
• Willingness to work in a cleanliness lab
• Experience with PPAP and MSA reports
• MUST have a US Passport with ability to travel for training purposes (travel is not often, and is more prone during initial training)
