We’re looking for a Machine Operator / Metal Finisher for one of our clients. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, enjoys hands‑on tasks, and thrives in a manufacturing environment. You’ll operate metal‑processing equipment, perform finishing tasks, and ensure all parts meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate metal fabrication and finishing equipment, including grinders, sanders, polishers, and CNC or manual machinery
Perform deburring, sanding, polishing, and surface finishing on metal components
Inspect parts for accuracy, defects, and quality compliance
Read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues promptly
Assist with material handling and workflow as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in metal finishing, machining, or manufacturing preferred
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
