Diesel Mechanic

We are working closely with one of our clients who is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team! You will repair and service light‑duty diesel engines and motors with a high degree of precision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, hydraulic, air, turbo, and exhaust systems
• Dismantle diesel motors, replace defective parts, and reassemble
• Perform tune‑ups and component replacement
• Conduct regular maintenance and preventative service
• Operate vehicle lifts, engine hoists, and other shop equipment
• Basic welding repairs as needed
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience as a diesel mechanic or related role
• Experience with gas engines is also beneficial
• Knowledge of diesel and gas motor components and systems
• Ability to use specialty automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Diesel mechanic certification preferred
