Logistics Coordinator- Import/Export (Ocean& Air)

Location: Torrance, CA

Schedule: Full-Time 8am - 5pm

Type: Temp-to-Perm 

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for a client in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This role handles import/export documentation, shipment coordination, and customer communication. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants a long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Process import/export documents (ISF, BL, invoices, AES, CF7512)

• Track shipments and update customers and vendors

• Coordinate trucking, pickups, and deliveries

• Prepare delivery orders, arrival notices, and billing packets

• Book ocean/air freight and generate BLs/HAWBs

• Resolve OS&D issues and prepare claims

• Maintain organized shipment and billing records

Requirements

• 5+ years import/export coordination experience in both Air and Sea

• Understand Import/Export Regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
