Facilities Coordinator, Qualified Driver

Narrative Description:
The Facilities Manager has responsibility for the overall plant maintenance and any other duties deemed necessary per the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
1. Coordinate building maintenance and upgrades: heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, roofing, fencing, gate, etc.
2. Keeping facility maps updated.
3. Inspect fire extinguishers.
4. Coordinate air quality reporting.
5. Handle hazmat storage and disposal. Coordinating hazardous waste pick up with Shipping and Receiving and outside suppliers of hazardous waste disposal services.
6. Coordinate janitorial services.
7. Research/apply to waste disposal programs and incentives.
8. Influence city officials, parking enforcers to compel RV campers to move to another street. Contact city officials for graffiti removal.
9. Checks and approves purchase order and/or invoices for above services, plus gas cylinder rental, waste management, solvent cleaner/replacement services, etc.
10. Over-time pay opportunities. We may need this person during urgent matters to work overtime. Example: late truck arrival, vendor urgency.
11. Conduct safety walkthroughs and coordinate corrections.
12. Communicate with Human Resources regarding safety concerns and corrections.
13. Coordinate vehicle maintenance
14. Restocking Office and Shop Supplies


Preferred Skill: Forklift experience
EDUCATION: High School or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One year of equivalent experience or technical training.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
