Paint Booth Technician

Summary:

A wood manufacturer in the North Charleston area is looking for an experienced Paint Booth Technician to handle the finishing process for custom woodwork. The ideal candidate will have expertise in taping, priming, sanding, and filling surfaces, as well as spraying with air assist systems and other painting methods. Paint Booth experience is essential, and prior experience in automotive or cabinet shop painting is highly preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by taping, priming, sanding, and filling
• Job includes anywhere from caulking to texturing and framing to installing trim.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times to include wearing personal protection equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional miscellaneous maintenance
• Perform all prep steps and apply all finishes, brush, roll HVLP airless, drywall patch etc.
• Operate spray guns and other painting equipment, including air assist systems
• Maintain and clean spray booth equipment

Schedule/Pay:

Mon- Fri 7:30am - 3:00pm

Pay: $22-$25/hr Depending on Experience
