Industrial Maintenance Technician

Salary: $20.00 - $32.00/hr

A local company in Bloomington is seeking a dependable and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting daily production operations in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Perform MIG and Stick Welding as needed
• Complete building repairs and general facility maintenance
• Conduct machine setup and adjustments
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Utilize various hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience working on machinery and production equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair skills
• Welding experience preferred (MIG and Stick)

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Full body mobility to maneuver around and work with machinery
• Comfortable using various hand tools
• High School Diploma or GED required

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
