Warehouse Associate

Pay: $16/hr 
Schedule: Monday-Friday  8:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, and shipping inventory, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, unload, and stage incoming inventory
• Organize and maintain inventory and warehouse stock
• Inspect products for damage or defects
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
• Pick, check, and fulfill customer orders
• Assist with production buildouts and basic hardware assembly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space
• Follow all company safety and hygiene policies
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks
• Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and well-organized
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn internal ERP systems
• Capable of handling stressful or fast-paced situations
• Ability to read and interpret business documents
• Team-oriented mindset

 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and use hands/fingers regularly
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and carrying required
• Work is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to varying temperatures

 

Education Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
