Imaging Technician I

Pay: $17-$20/hr per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday  8:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are looking for an Imaging Technician. This is an entry-level technical role responsible for supporting PC imaging, configuration, and deployment activities. Working under direct supervision, this position performs device imaging, asset handling, and deployment tasks using established procedures and automated tools. The technician plays a key role in ensuring accurate setup, tracking, and delivery of IT equipment for internal and customer use.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Install system images, software, and hardware components on devices
• Perform PC imaging and automated software deployments
• Label, asset tag, and prepare configured equipment for shipment
• Handle inbound and outbound inventory, including receiving and distribution
• Follow detailed imaging checklists, work instructions, and company procedures
• Troubleshoot basic imaging and deployment issues
• Assist with onsite and offsite imaging and deployment activities
• Deliver and deploy equipment at customer locations when required
• Perform general warehouse duties including organization and inventory support
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to deployments
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting
• Comfortable interacting with employees, customers, and vendors
• Basic analytical skills with the ability to create spreadsheets and reports

 

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Basic experience with ERP systems
• Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) preferred
• Knowledge of Windows 10 operating system
• Desktop imaging or desktop support experience preferred

Work Environment

• Combination of warehouse, office, and customer site environments
• May require lifting, moving equipment, and standing for extended periods
• Occasional travel for onsite deployment activities
