Technical Writing & Content Creation:

• Develop Documentation: Research, write, and maintain clear, user-friendly technical documentation, including user manuals, SOPs, FAQs, release notes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Information Architecture: Organize and structure information in a logical, easily navigable format using content management systems.
• Visual Integration: Incorporate diagrams, screenshots, infographics, and flowcharts to enhance understanding of complex systems.
• Quality Assurance: Edit and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines

Technical Trainer/Writer Job Responsibilities: 

Conducts computer training needs assessment by collecting information on employee skillsets.

• Creates technical training programs according to requirements.
• Provides training schedules and agendas.
• Determines course content and objectives.
• Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems.
• Evaluates technical employees and identifies areas needing improvement.
• Prepares training materials and sessions, in groups or individually.
• Reports data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Recruits and onboards new technical trainers.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.

Technical Trainer Qualifications and Skills

• Working knowledge of ERP usage covering various functional areas
• Working knowledge of IT
• Advanced technical skills in e-learning and mobile training
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical or other technical manufacturing/warehousing/distribution industries
• Strong teaching and mentoring experience
• Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• A bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Preferred experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or a similar role
• Professional technical training certification such as STT is preferred
