Position Summary

The Patient Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from scheduling to follow-up. This role is responsible for managing appointments, coordinating patient care, handling administrative tasks, and supporting communication between patients, and providers.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Interaction & Customer Service

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes
• Address patient questions regarding appointments, procedures, and policies
• Ensure a positive, patient-centered experience at all times
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently
• Coordinate patient visits, including referrals and follow-ups
• Manage provider calendars to optimize workflow and minimize wait times
• Collect payments and process transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in electronic systems
• Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and messages
• Prepare and organize documentation, forms, and reports
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare administration
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EMR) systems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay $20 - $24/hr
