Brake Press -1st shift

Job Summary: 
The brake press operator will work in a manufacturing cell as a part of a team performing set-up and operation of CNC 
brake press equipment to form metal components in accordance to quality and production standards. Based on 
workload mix, the brake press operator may learn additional skills such as 
operating an insert machine, fabrication assembly, or other fabrication operations as part of the operator’s long-term 
development plan. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
• Responsible for forming a variety of different steel components using CNC brake presses.  
• Responsible for flexing to inserting, fabrication assembly, and other fabrication operations based on workload.  
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions on drawings.  
• Responsible for verifying parts to print requirements and verifying other operators’ work.  
• Responsible for following all safety policies.  
• Responsible for maintaining an organized workplace through good housekeeping efforts  
Language Skills  
• Must able to read and understand work order information, mechanical drawings and work instructions.  
Mathematical Skills  
• Ability to calculate figures and analyze such as dimensions, and measurements.  
Reasoning Ability  
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
