2nd 1-9 Paint Line Assistant

Paint Line Operator Job Summary: 

A Company located in Grand Rapids that makes a variety of springs and dampers for a variety of sectors is looking for a Paint Line Operator to join their team. 

Paint Line Operator Responsibilities:

• Starting up and shutting down the paint line system
• Mix paint
• Monitor and test phosphate tanks, clean tanks, and add chemicals
• Monitor voltage, paint application, and millage-viscosity-titration
• Change filters and masking tubes
• Direct and assist in preventative maintenance program
• Record keeping of titration monitoring and millage tests
• Coordinate activities of Paint Line Cleaner, Paint Line Assistants, and Silk Screen Operator

Paint Line Operator Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm with overtime as needed
• $17.30/hr with a great range for wage growth

Paint Line Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with electrostatic paint systems is required
• Hilo certification is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to properly communicate information to team members and various departments
• Ability to start up and shut down a paint line system properly
