Industrial Maintenance Technician – HVAC / Utilities

Express Employment Professionals – Lubbock, TX

Pay:$20.00 – $22.00 per hour DOE

Available Shifts

B Shift

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Every other Saturday and every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

C Shift

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: Every other Wednesday and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant utility systems and equipment
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and components
• Inspect, install, relocate, modify, and repair facility equipment as needed
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments
• Test electrical systems and backup utilities
• Support and maintain energy management and conservation programs
• Calibrate critical components and ensure equipment remains in safe working condition
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment issues quickly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience with:
• Basic electrical systems
• Mechanical systems
• Plumbing systems
• Pneumatic systems and pneumatic controls
• HVAC maintenance and repair experience preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and utilities
• Strong attention to safety and preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred
