Job Description

Express Employment Professionals of Lubbock is currently hiring a dependable and safety-focused Crane / Boom Truck Operator to join a growing team in the construction and materials industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating boom trucks or cranes to transport and place materials safely and efficiently on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate boom truck/crane to lift and move materials such as trusses, steel beams, HVAC units, and other construction materials
• Load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently
• Position loads precisely at job sites, including elevated areas or locations with obstacles
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with ground crews, site supervisors, and dispatch
• Secure loads properly for transport
• Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL required
• Previous crane, boom truck, or heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work at heights as needed
• NCCCO certification is a plus, but not required
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
