Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and overall operational efficiency. This role oversees a team of skilled technicians (mechanics and electricians) and is responsible for driving preventive maintenance programs, minimizing downtime, and supporting production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize uptime and productivity
• Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements
• Manage labor, overtime, maintenance budgets, inventory, and third-party repair vendors
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Partner with Operations to minimize unplanned downtime while meeting production goals
• Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause solutions to improve long-term reliability
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and utilize CMMS systems for tracking and reporting
• Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulations

Technical Scope

This role supports a wide range of industrial equipment, including:

• Conveying systems, balers, compactors, and processing equipment
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Bulk material handling and production equipment

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar leadership role in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards (LOTO, HazCom, Fire Safety, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and maintenance teams

Preferred:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance software (CMMS)
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Budgeting and financial management experience
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Welding and hands-on troubleshooting experience
