Billing Specialist

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour/ DOE

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Must be available for overtime as needed

A leading creative packaging and display company is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support their accounting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoice processing, vendor setup, and financial record keeping. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to posting and payment
• Process customer invoices daily with a high level of accuracy
• Upload invoices to customer portals as required
• Set up approved vendors in the AP system and maintain vendor files (W-9s, Certificates of Insurance)
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Support the Staff Accountant with passthrough vendor invoices and ACH payment postings
• Assist with EDI invoicing for passthrough programs in SPS
• Support month-end closing activities
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with invoicing systems and accounting software (Amtech experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
