We are partnering with a distribution company on the northwest side of Indianapolis seeking a Shipping Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside a small team to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Job Summary

• Lead and support a team of 5–6 shipping associates
• Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Assist with loading, packing, and preparing outbound shipments
• Monitor workflow and help prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Train and support team members, providing guidance as needed
• Step in to troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly
• Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment
• Willingness to stay late when needed to complete daily workload

Schedule
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime as needed

Pay
$19.50–$20.00/hour

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations
• Experience leading or overseeing a small team preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to stay late and support the team as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
