Mechanical Assembler

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to support growing production needs.

This is a 3-month contract role with strong potential for permanent placement for reliable and hardworking candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
Install and fasten screws, bolts, and hardware with proper alignment and torque
Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
Record completed work, inspections, and any issues encountered
Follow all safety procedures when using tools and materials
Participate in training to learn blueprint reading and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Safely operate cranes, ladders, and material-handling equipment
Meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety
Follow company policies and procedures at all times

What You Bring

Up to 1 year of experience in mechanical or assembly work
Strong mechanical aptitude
Hands-on experience using hand tools
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to read or learn to read blueprints
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable and safety-focused
