Janitor

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Janitor position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Clean and maintain public restrooms to ensure sanitary and safe conditions
• Empty trash receptacles and assist with keeping park areas clean and presentable
• Perform general janitorial and grounds maintenance duties throughout public areas
• Remove trash regularly to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for visitors
• Complete daily janitorial and maintenance tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Use cleaning supplies, janitorial equipment, trash carts, and basic grounds maintenance tools safely and properly
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and appearance of outdoor public spaces

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous janitorial, maintenance, or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Reliable and able to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good time management skills
• Experience using basic cleaning tools and equipment helpful
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the shift
• Capable of lifting and carrying trash bags, cleaning supplies, and equipment as needed
