Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and service-minded Part-Time Food Runner / Busser to join the Food & Beverage team at a country club in North Lakeland, Florida. This role supports servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and banquet teams by delivering food, clearing and resetting tables, maintaining service areas, and helping provide members and guests with prompt, polished, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables, banquet areas, poolside service, or event spaces quickly and accurately.
• Clear used plates, glassware, silverware, and other items from tables throughout service.
• Reset tables according to country club standards.
• Assist servers with water refills, bread service, condiments, and other guest needs.
• Keep service stations stocked with trays, napkins, silverware, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, patio, banquet rooms, and service areas.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding order status, table needs, and guest requests.
• Support banquets, golf outings, private parties, and special club events as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, country club, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional attitude with a strong focus on member and guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, carry trays, bend, lift, and move quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Must be dependable, punctual, well-groomed, and willing to follow club standards.
• Flexible part-time availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Hours may vary based on dining service, banquets, golf outings, and club events. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred.

Compensation

This position pays $17 per hour.
