Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Boston, MA
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.80 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing facility maintenance, heavy cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, and equipment support to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment. This role supports daily operations through preventive maintenance, sanitation, building upkeep, and coordination of cleaning and pest control activities

Key Responsibilities

Perform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility and grounds
Maintain safe and clean work areas including walkways, warehouse areas, offices, stairwells, and common spaces
Assist with preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter changes, motor replacement, and basic equipment repairs
Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and ice treatment as needed
Support facility upkeep projects including painting and general building repairs
Assist with coordinating cleaning and pest control services
Provide support and operational coverage for facilities functions as needed
Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently with minimal supervision
Assist warehouse or office teams with operational support when required
Communicate maintenance concerns and improvement ideas in a timely manner
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of maintenance, cleaning, or sanitation experience in a facility, warehouse, or industrial environment
Experience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) preferred
Food industry experience is a plus
Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
Experience using hand tools and power equipment safely
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and time management skills
Basic computer skills including email communication required
Ability to provide professional and dependable service
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including bending, climbing, and prolonged standing
