• Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Pay: $18.00/hr

B Shift – Night Shift

• Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Pay: $21.00/hr

C Shift – Day Shift

• Schedule: Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Pay: $18.00/hr

D Shift – Night Shift

• Schedule: Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
• Pay: $22.00/hr

Workplace Language

The production floor is primarily Spanish-speaking. English is welcome. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged but not required.

Job Overview

We are hiring Wood Assemblers (Crate Builders) to join a fast-paced production team building custom wooden crates using cut sheets (blueprints) and power tools. This role is critical in meeting customer specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.

This position is ideal for candidates who are hands-on, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working either day or night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Wood Crate Production

• Build wooden crates of various sizes using cut sheets and power tools
• Operate nail guns, staplers, drills, grinders, and hammers safely
• Assemble crate bases and platforms (kneeling, bending, lifting required)
• Use ladders safely to assemble crate covers
• Apply adhesives and install foam per specifications
• Log production activity in the Ops Center system

Specification Verification

• Measure materials accurately (within 1/8-inch tolerance)
• Read and interpret cut sheets, labels, and drawings
• Report errors or discrepancies

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
• Report unsafe conditions or defective equipment immediately
• Work efficiently while following procedures
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Must bring own tools: hammer, measuring tape, and steel-toe safety shoes
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 months experience in carpentry, construction, landscaping, or similar roles using power tools
• Basic computer skills to log job entries using employee number
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to meet physical job demands

Additional Duties

• Keep work area clean (sweeping, disposing of wood, foam, debris)
• Perform other duties as assigned
