LOCAL BOTTLING COMPANY IN AMERICAN CANYON IS SEEKING A WAREHOUSE CLERK. THIS IS A LONG - TERM OPPORTUNITY AND THE PAY RANGE IS $20.00 - $28.00 DOE. IT IS A 10 HOUR WORK WEEK - 4 DAYS - MONDAY - THURSDAY 7:00AM - 5:30PM.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
- Conduct daily roll call and maintain monthly attendance sheets.
- Coordinate and update shared calendars, including meetings and vacation schedules.
- Process vacation request forms and send meeting reminders.
- Create bottle mockups as needed.
- File lab orders and work order packets.
- Maintain printer scan groups and organize the company shared drive (I://share drive).
- Prepare announcements and flyers, including printing and translation for employee communications.
- Coordinate holiday decorations and employee birthday celebrations.
- Prepare year-end filing and organize file drawers for the upcoming year.
- Ship sample cases as needed.
Compliance & Documentation
- Monitor TTB approvals daily and verify labels upon arrival.
- Maintain bottle breakage logs (BTL-31).
- Scan and file Bills of Lading (BOLs) for materials and bulk wine.
- Assist with drafting, updating, and implementing SOPs and procedures.
- Contribute to Food Safety Management System policies.
- Perform quarterly GMP audits as directed by the Plant Manager.
Inventory & Purchasing
- Maintain spare parts inventory database.
- Coordinate weekly Amazon supply orders, obtain approvals, distribute deliveries, and maintain office supply inventory.
- Manage Cintas inventory and supply coordination.
- Maintain leftover bottle shelves and end-of-run bottle logs.
Temporary Employee Support
- Enter and submit temporary employee timecards weekly.
- Coordinate GMP signoffs and onboarding support for temporary workers.
Safety & Training
- Organize and conduct monthly safety tailgate meetings and training sessions.
- Assist employees in following safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain training records and safety documentation.
- Coordinate snacks and refreshments for monthly meetings.
- Track Employee of the Quarter participation and encourage team involvement.
Warehouse Support
- Assist with monitoring warehouse receiving doors and cover breaks/lunch periods.
- Support warehouse material check-in processes according to SOPs.
- Prepare pallet tags by customer for warehouse materials.
- Gather material QC samples for office and laboratory use.
- Print glass tags for warehouse boards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and translate fluently).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good attention to detail, vision, and situational awareness.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
- Ability to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as business needs require.
