We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Pool Service & Retail Associate to join our growing team in Maria Stein, Ohio. This position combines hands-on pool service work with customer support in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with pool chemicals and water testing procedures.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, working outdoors, and learning technical pool maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and balance pool water chemistry including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other chemical levels
• Assist with safely handling, measuring, and applying pool chemicals
• Support technicians with pool cleaning, maintenance, and equipment inspections
• Load and unload supplies while keeping service vehicles organized and clean
• Assist customers in the retail store with product questions, purchases, and recommendations
• Stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and support daily retail operations
• Complete customer paperwork and explain pool treatment plans and products used
• Use computer software to input customer information, complete forms, and transfer information to paper documentation
• Troubleshoot pool issues and recommend solutions based on water conditions and customer concerns
• Calculate proper chemical measurements and conversions for pool treatments
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to solve problems and think critically
• Comfortable using calculators, measurements, and AI tools to assist with calculations
• Ability to lift supplies and work in indoor and outdoor environments
• Willingness to learn pool maintenance procedures and chemical handling
• Retail or pool service experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to do basic math and simple conversions
