Job Title: Freight Packaging Specialist

Job Summary:
The Freight Packaging Specialist is responsible for preparing, packaging, and organizing outgoing freight to ensure safe and accurate shipment. This role involves palletizing products, verifying orders, and assisting with loading trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and package outgoing freight for shipment according to company standards
• Verify orders for accuracy prior to packaging and shipment
• Build and organize custom pallets to ensure secure transport of goods
• Operate a forklift to move materials and load outgoing trucks (training available if needed)
• Assist with lifting, stacking, and organizing freight within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and operational instructions at all times

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, especially in order verification and packaging
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Full physical ability (strength, flexibility, mobility) to meet the varying demands of the job.

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Experience with order verification, palletizing, or freight preparation

• Work Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
• Starting Compensation: From $18-$19 hr.
