Electrical Technician

 

A company on the southside of Indianapolis is hiring an Electrical technician.   

Ideal candidate in this position would ideally have experience working on cars, hydraulic engines, heavy machinery or other transferable skills that show a mechanical aptitude.

 

Pay/Benefits:

• $23/hr
• Once hired on, the company offers medical and dental insurance
• A 401K plan
• PTO + paid holidays

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6 am to 2:30pm. 
• Could be some overtime on end of shift

Company Info/Job Duties:

• Build and install wiring harnesses and perform basic mechanical fastening and assembly
• Use standard electrical diagnostic tools and devices to determine required repairs.
• Work with 12V DC system Control Panels such as relays, electrical modules, terminal strips, and sub-assemblies.
• Quality control of finished work

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined
• previous experience with 12v DC
• Must have ability to measure
• Ability to learn
• Heavy lifting
