Material Handler

Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement, distribution, and storage of materials within the warehouse.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all company programs, policies, and procedures while completing tasks
• Assist warehouse operations through safe material handling and organization
• Support baler operations by transporting materials to and from the conveyor team
• Complete various team projects as assigned by warehouse management
• Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable and reliable with excellent attendance
• Experience operating a sit-down propane forklift, including moving, locating, stacking, relocating, and counting materials
• Ability to perform equipment inspections and ensure reports comply with state and federal regulations
• Report equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including wet, humid, hot, and cold environments
• Exposure to typical warehouse hazards, including moving equipment and machinery
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential exposure to allergens
