Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced Plant Operator. This position is a full-time evaluation-to-hire position.

General Summary:
Safely conduct terminal operations and activities to ensure daily production objectives are accomplished related to storage, regular inventory, transfers, manufacture, and distribution.
Minimum Requirements:
High school or GED. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record — mechanical experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In coordination with the daily production and maintenance schedules, perform tasks as scheduled safely and efficiently while following all guidelines: monitor and record fuel consumption and temperatures on all heating systems. Compare previous readings and report deviations to plans to the terminal supervisor. Perform duties involving preparation of shipments, bills of lading, and blender operations. Oversee the receipt and delivery of materials to ensure proper count, weight, and identification. Fore materials received, responsible for the accuracy, timely input, and maintenance of daily tank sheets.
Gain a base knowledge of all products handled within the operations department. Included within this are storage and shipping temperature ranges in products, compatibility of products, and the safety and environmental considerations of every product. Ensure that equipment, machinery, and furnishings in all terminals are maintained in an organized, safe, and operable condition. Perform other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge and experience with all types of pumps, mixers, mills, valves, and pm programs. Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment. Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve. Working independently to assess and repair equipment appropriately.
Additional Information:
Working mainly outside in elements, ability to lift 40lbs. Climbing outside tank stairs more than 40’. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
