Position Summary
The Account Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting sales and account management teams by providing exceptional customer service, accurate order processing, and administrative support. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, sales representatives, production, logistics, and finance to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Account & Customer Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication
- Assist in resolving customer concerns, discrepancies, or service issues promptly and professionally
Order Management & Coordination
- Process customer orders accurately using ERP and internal systems
- Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
- Track order status from entry through shipment and delivery
- Manage changes, returns, credits, and adjustments as required
Sales & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to Account Managers and Sales Representatives
- Prepare quotes, sales documentation, and basic reports
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and contracts
- Assist with forecasting, order planning, and demand coordination
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in account support, sales coordination, customer service, or order management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
