We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Project Manager to oversee structural steel and ornamental iron projects from award through closeout in Jamestown, NY. This role is responsible for full project execution, including safety leadership, coordination, scheduling, cost control, and successful field installation. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter capable of managing multiple fast-paced projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary project lead and main point of contact between clients, general contractors, detailing/engineering teams, fabrication, and field crews
• Take ownership of project outcomes by anticipating challenges and driving solutions independently
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule performance and profitability
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in compliance with company programs, site requirements, and industry best practices
• Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and change orders
• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate scope and risk identification
• Drive submittals, RFIs, shop drawing approvals, and material releases to support fabrication and erection schedules
• Monitor project progress, maintain urgency, and implement corrective actions to protect schedules and production flow
• Support field operations with logistics planning, installation sequencing, and issue resolution
• Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring full contract compliance and overall project success

Qualifications

• Prior experience in project management within structural steel, ornamental iron, or related construction trades preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $50,000–$100,000, based on experience
• Full-time, stable opportunity with long-term growth potential
• Hours are M-F 8 am to 5 pm with potential for overtime.
