Salary: $36.00 + DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations and support production efficiency. This 6-month contract role is responsible for supervising hourly personnel, coordinating manpower planning, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to hourly production personnel
• Plan and allocate production manpower to meet operational demands
• Prioritize and coordinate critical repairs to minimize downtime
• Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner
• Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
• Lead and communicate effectively during daily production meetings
• Address and resolve employee concerns and workplace issues
• Provide job coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Post-secondary education required
• Supervisory or management training/courses considered an asset
• Experience with ISO standards is an asset
• Union environment knowledge is an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: Days, Afternoon and Night rotations required

Wage: $36.00 - $37.50./hour
