Are you an experienced manufacturing leader looking for your next opportunity? A Springfield-area manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production and material handling operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, employee development, and operational excellence.

Salary

• $55,000-$70,000 annually
• Based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Full-Time
• Overtime on Fridays as needed

What You'll Do

• Lead daily production and material handling operations
• Assign workloads and monitor productivity goals
• Train, coach, cross-train, and develop employees
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations activities
• Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
• Monitor quality, safety, delivery, and productivity metrics
• Maintain production tracking systems and operational records
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
• Conduct safety training and support OSHA compliance efforts
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to achieve operational goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience required
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership and employee development skills
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
• Experience with ISO quality systems preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
